Abstract: The Qur'an possesses extraordinary linguistic beauty, one of which is manifested in the ḥusn at-ta‘līl figure of speech. This research aims to examine the forms and meanings of ḥusn at-ta‘līl in Surah Ar-Raḥmān through a comparative study between Al-Bayḍāwī’s Anwār At-Tanzīl and Al-Ālūsī’s Rūḥ Al-Ma‘ānī. The background of this study stems from the lack of specific research on ḥusn at-ta‘līl in Surah Ar-Raḥmān that integrates the perspectives of two commentators with different linguistic styles. The method used is qualitative with a muqāran (comparative) approach through content analysis of literature sources. The results indicate that there are five verses in Surah Ar-Raḥmān containing ḥusn at-ta‘līl, divided into four classifications. The comparative analysis reveals that Al-Bayḍāwī interprets the verses concisely and systematically with an emphasis on global meaning, whereas Al-Ālūsī provides a broader, more profound review, integrating linguistic and theological aspects. This research is expected to enrich the study of Qur'anic balaghah, especially regarding muḥassināt ma‘nawiyyah.

Abstrak: Al-Qur'an memiliki keindahan bahasa yang luar biasa, salah satunya terwujud dalam gaya bahasa ḥusn at-ta‘līl. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk dan makna ḥusn at-ta‘līl dalam Surah Ar-Raḥmān melalui studi komparatif antara Tafsir Anwār At-Tanzīl karya Al-Bayḍāwī dan Tafsir Rūḥ Al-Ma‘ānī karya Al-Ālūsī. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari minimnya kajian spesifik mengenai ḥusn at-ta‘līl pada Surah Ar-Raḥmān yang memadukan perspektif dua mufasir dengan corak kebahasaan yang berbeda. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan muqāran (komparatif) melalui analisis isi (content analysis) terhadap sumber-sumber kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat lima ayat dalam Surah Ar-Raḥmān yang mengandung ḥusn at-ta‘līl, terbagi dalam empat klasifikasi bentuk. Analisis komparatif menemukan bahwa Al-Bayḍāwī menafsirkan ayat secara ringkas dan sistematis dengan penekanan pada makna global, sedangkan Al-Ālūsī memberikan ulasan yang lebih luas, mendalam, dan memadukan aspek linguistik serta teologis. Kontribusi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya khazanah kajian balagah Al-Qur'an, khususnya pada aspek muḥassināt ma‘nawiyyah.
