The second half of the 16th CE then continued into the 17th are considered as the formative period of Islamic intellectual tradition in Nusantara, where the thoughts of the Nusantara scholars can be traced through manuscripts in large numbers stored in various institutional collections, both at home and abroad, as well as personal. One such 17th century product is al-Mawahib al-Mustarsalah ʻala al-Tuhfah al-Mursalah (hereafter al-Mawahib). Previously, four manuscripts: the collections of the Ali Hasjmi Educational Foundation and Museum (ms. A), PNRI A 97 (ms. B), Rabat, Marocco (ms. C), and the State Museum of Aceh (ms. D) - which is the foundation manuscript - had already been researched by the same author in 2014 for his dissertation. While this article examines two copies of recently discovered manuscripts: the new PNRI collection (ms. E) and Surau Latiah (ms. F), Solok City, West Sumatra. The research on these two copies is generally related to the codicology, or more specifically focused on the paratext including colophons and marginal glosses. The results of the study show that: first, the Arabic manuscript tradition in Nusantara has similarities with the Arabic manuscript tradition in the Middle East, even if there are differences, they are not fundamental; second, both manuscripts are anonymous, thus implicitly not denying the findings from the four previous manuscripts that the author of the al-Mawahib was Ibrahim al-Asyi who lived in the 17th century.
