FUDA I, Thursday, September 11, 2025 - The Student Association of the Al-Qur'an and Tafsir Science Study Program (HMPS IAT), Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten held the 28th Anniversary of the IAT Study Program, which lasted for two days, from 10 to 11 September 2025. The event was held in the FUDA Hall on the 2nd floor, with a series of activities that reflect the spirit of academic, spiritual, and cultural harmony.
The Dean of FUDA, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, and the entire academic community welcomed the organization of this milad. This activity is considered to be an important moment in strengthening the synergy between the IAT Study Program, students, alumni, and elements of society who care about the development of Qur'anic values.
The event was also attended by faculty leaders, education staff, Chairperson and Secretary of the IAT Study Program, representatives of student organizations, alumni of the IAT Study Program, and Chairperson of the Banten Province Terrorism Prevention Coordination Forum (FKPT), Chairil Anwar, S.H. Dozens of students participated in enlivening the event with artistic performances such as dance, hadroh, and acoustic bands.
In his speech, Zaenal Mutiin, M.A. (Alumni of Prodi IAT) explained the long history of Prodi IAT which was formerly known as the Hadith Interpretation Study Program (TH). He explained that TH has a philosophy of three “transfers”: transfer head (knowledge), transfer hand (skills), and transfer heart (value and sincerity). “Although there were not many TH students in the past, their creativity was extraordinary. From there, TH Study Program developed into a more mature and characterized IAT,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chairil Anwar, S.H. (Chairman of FKPT Banten Province) in his speech conveyed the importance of the role of the Qur'anic young generation in building the Golden Indonesia 2045. Quoting the contents of his book, Qur'anic Youth Against Terrorism for Golden Indonesia 2045, He emphasized that terrorism is not only a security issue, but also a moral and spiritual one. “Qur'anic youth is the vanguard of change. Let's build character, knowledge, and faith to realize a peaceful and prosperous nation,” he said, while quoting QS. Al-Maidah: 2 as a reminder of the importance of cooperation in goodness and piety.

- Scientific Seminar
- Student Art Performance
On the second day, the activity opened with istighosah and prayer together, The event was held to pray for blessings and safety for the entire academic community and especially the progress of the IAT Study Program in producing a noble Qur'anic generation. Spiritual nuances combined with the vibrant arts displayed by students, proving that IAT students are not only superior in academics, but also rich in artistic and cultural expressions.
With gratitude, all participants enjoyed the milad atmosphere in the spirit of ukhuwah. Hopefully this 28th Anniversary will become an important momentum in strengthening solidarity, strengthening commitment in grounding the Qur'an, and making IAT Study Program a pioneer of Qur'anic civilization that educates and enlightens society.
