On the day Monday, date June 29, 2026, located at Auditorium of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, 2nd Floor, Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University, Banten, an event was held Budgeting Course organized by Student Senate of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, 2026 Term with the theme:
“Building a Culture of Financial Administration That Is Orderly, Transparent, and Accountable.”
This event was held as part of the Student Senate of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab’s commitment to enhancing the capabilities of students—particularly student organization leaders—so that they gain a solid understanding of financial administration, the preparation of activity proposals and accountability reports, organizational taxation, and professional, transparent, effective, and accountable financial management.
The series of activities began at 8:00 a.m. WIB The event began with participant registration, attended by students, student organization leaders, the organizing committee, and invited guests. After all participants had registered, the event continued with the opening ceremony, which was hosted by the emcee.
The event was officially opened by Vice Chair of the Student Senate of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, Mr. Yunan Fahri Ramadhan. In his remarks, he stated that administrative and financial management is one of the key aspects of an organization’s sustainability. He emphasized that every student organization must be able to foster a culture of administration that is orderly, transparent, accountable, and responsible—as a manifestation of the organization’s professionalism and the implementation of good governance principles within the student community. In addition, he encouraged all participants to follow each session diligently so that the knowledge gained could be applied in the implementation of their respective organizations’ work programs.
Following the opening ceremony, the event continued with the first presentation, titled “Guidelines for Preparing Proposals and Accountability Reports” presented by Jaka Laksana Tejasunarya, B.A. in Economics, M.A. in Accounting. And Levi Septiani, B.A. in Economics. moderated by Murnia Andini. In this session, the presenter provided a comprehensive explanation of the procedures for drafting activity proposals, preparing a Budget Estimate (RAB), the budget submission process, and techniques for preparing accountability reports that are well-structured and in accordance with administrative regulations.
After the first session ended, the activity was temporarily suspended to Rest, Prayer, and Meals (ISHOMA) before moving on to the next item on the agenda.
At the start of the second session, participants received materials on “Technical Understanding of Taxation” presented by Syaeful Huda, B.S. in Computer Science, M.S. in Computer Science. with a moderator Fathur Alkayissu Royyan. This material discusses the importance of understanding taxation in managing an organization’s budget, ranging from the basics of taxation and the types of taxes related to the organization’s activities to the tax administration mechanisms that must be taken into account to ensure that financial management complies with applicable regulations.
Next, in the third session, participants were presented with material on “Organizational Financial Management” presented by Dr. Hj. Eva Syarifah Wardah, M.Hum. represented by Dr. Jainul Abidin, B.S., M.S. with a moderator Salsabilah Sofa. In his presentation, he explained the principles of sound organizational financial management, ranging from the budget planning process, budget implementation, recording of financial transactions, and oversight of fund usage, to the preparation of transparent and accountable financial reports.
The entire series of sessions was conducted interactively. Participants showed great enthusiasm by actively participating in discussions and asking various questions regarding administrative and financial management challenges frequently encountered in the implementation of student organization programs. The speakers provided explanations, solutions, and practical insights that can serve as guidelines for improving organizational governance.
Through the activity Budgeting Course Through this program, it is hoped that all participants will be able to enhance their competencies in organizational administration and finance, understand the proper procedures for drafting proposals and accountability reports, apply the principles of transparency and accountability in budget management, and foster a professional, effective, and responsible organizational culture.
The event ended at 17.00 WIB and concluded with a group prayer. Overall, the event went orderly, smooth, and conducive, and received positive feedback from all participants. It is our sincere hope that similar activities will continue to be held on an ongoing basis as part of efforts to improve the quality of governance in student organizations within the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab.
