She explained that this year's scientific forum for Adab lecturers will discuss the paradigm of humanities studies in the era of the industrial revolution 5.0.
“Social problems in the form of technology abuse, lack of technology user literacy, and extreme religious attitudes in the midst of digital flows are important backgrounds for the formulation of this year's ADIA theme. We hope that in this scientific forum, there will be dialectical-constructive conversations related to these problems,” he said.
“In addition to focusing on humanitarian struggles, our study paradigm should ideally also be directed at strengthening religious moderation in the public sphere in general and virtual public spaces in particular. Such academic movements will produce actual and useful humanities studies in the community,” concluded the professor of the History of Islamic Civilization.
In line with the Dean of FAH (Faculty of Adab and Humanities), Dr. M. Faisol, M.A. as Chairman of ADIA conveyed the importance of the position of social humanities problems as a foundation for scientific development. According to him, “these problems can be the object of research in order to develop and reinterpret existing theories”.
