Mission

Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab
  1. Organizing quality and professional teaching education with a current and global outlook;
  2. Develop quality research in the field of ushuluddin and adab with a multidisciplinary approach;
  3. Carrying out community service in accordance with the basis of the ushuluddin and adab scientific fields that integrate Islamic and scientific knowledge;
  4. Implementing cooperation with government and non-government institutions both at home and abroad;
  5. Improving the managerial quality and governance of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab based on the principles of accountability, transparency, and efficiency.

Strategy

  • The development of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab which is able to produce Islamic, quality and competitive graduates at the regional, national and international levels;
  • The development of a research culture and academic climate within the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab so as to create scientific integration with Islamic and Indonesian-ness;
  • The realization of quality research that can be used to improve the quality and encourage the transformation of the lives of Muslim communities towards a better direction;
  • The creation of harmonious relations between institutions, both internally and externally, to support a healthy, competitive, relevant and responsive academic life to the development of society;
  • The establishment of good and professional academic services through improving the managerial quality and governance of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab based on the principles of accountability, transparency, and efficiency;
  • The creation of academic life of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab by prioritizing Islamic values, instilling faith and piety and forming noble morals.

Academic Quality Improvement

  1. Reconstructing the curriculum based on KKNI by integrating Islamic and scientific knowledge;
  2. Intensify the learning process to achieve a study period of 4 - 4.5 years with an average GPA of at least 3.25;
  3. Increase student involvement in the research process carried out by lecturers so that students have research, service and work experience in relevant institutions;
  4. Developing students' academic abilities in the fields of IT, Foreign Languages and Islamic Studies;
    Develop student academics so that graduates have soft skills certification.

Research Quality Improvement

  1. Increase the publication of lecturers' research results in national and international indexed journals;
  2. Increased lecturer research involving students;
  3. Intensify the implementation of lecturer discussions based on clusters of knowledge;
  4. Provide awards for lecturers whose writings are published in national and international accredited journals;
  5. Increase research funding for each lecturer.

Improving the Quality of Community Service

  1. Intensifying community service based on study programs with an integrated Islamic and scientific approach;
  2. Increase collaboration between lecturers and students in conducting community service;
  3. Improving community service governance by focusing on community empowerment;
  4. Increase research funding for each lecturer.

Human Resources Improvement

  1. Increasing lecturers to participate in further studies, short courses and post-doctoral programs;
  2. Improve performance with the achievement of e-SKP scores for employees of 87-93%;
  3. Conduct training to systematically improve IT-based administrative services.
