Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung Conducts Benchmarking Activities to Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten

FUDA I Friday, November 15, 2024 - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten received a visit from the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the FUDA Meeting room on the 2nd floor.

The arrival of the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung amounted to 4 people consisting of vice dean I Dr. Ecep Ismail, S.Ag., M.Ag., vice Dean II Dr. Muhlas, S Ag., M.Hum. M and Vice Dean III Dr. R. Yuli Ahmad Hambali, M.Hum as well as representatives of the education staff.

The Dean of each Faculty both from the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Sunan Gunung Djati and the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten did not attend this Benchamrking activity, because there was a meeting of the Deans Forum throughout Indonesia held at UIN Salatiga on November 12 to 15, 2024.

The Benchmarking activity was carried out to share about how the management of each Faculty, such as the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), which is a program launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) to revolutionize the higher education system in Indonesia. This program aims to improve the competence of graduates, prepare them to become future leaders, and facilitate the development of student potential, then about alumni tracking programs and others.

Head of Administration Raden Suryanto said that UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung can be considered as a predecessor that has more experience in managing faculties, because UIN Banten was still included in West Java before Banten became a province.

Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung Dr. Ecep Ismail said that his visit was more focused on the academic field, namely sharing how the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten in the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka.

Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten Dr. Aang Saeful Milah said that currently the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab has been optimal in carrying out important activities such as sending students to two countries, namely Turkey and Egypt, also accompanied by lecturers. Hopefully this is an important point in obtaining Superior Accreditation, for that with this meeting it can add the best input from the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung so that the Study Program at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab can get superior accreditation.
