FUDA | Serang 12/11/2024 - “Higher Education Produces Educated Human Resources, but also Contributes to Educated Unemployment” is a very striking phrase. The higher the stigma of education, the easier it should be for someone to get a good job and career. But in fact, not a few people who become graduates become unemployed. Obviously, this is a big problem for universities, even for the country. The emergence of this problem is not only a factor of university management, but also the low knowledge of students about their career planning, so that after graduating from college, they do not know where to work.
In response to this, the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab presented the Head of Career Skills and Development Center (CPDC) UIN SMH Banten, Mr. As'ari, S.S., M.Si. to convey career planning to FUDA students through FUDA Student Achievement Development (BINMAPRES) activities in 2024 which was held on November 12-14, 2024.
Mr. As'ari, S.S., M.Si. conveyed some very important things, with the theme of personal branding and career advancement for students. With a straightforward and firm discussion, and with various analogies so that it is easy to understand.
“Success does not have to wait for old age, in fact we can achieve success easily if we are serious and want to form personal branding on ourselves.” Said Mr. As'ari.
He also emphasized that in addition to personal branding, we must also be supported by good relationships with parents.
“It's useless if you pray at night every time, and always pray to Allah but your relationship with your parents is not good then it will also not be able to achieve success” explained Mr. As'ari. The phrase is based on Surah An-Nisa verse 36, he emphasized that if we want to succeed in the world and the hereafter, what must be prepared in addition to personal branding must also build good relationships with parents and those closest to us.
The existence of this activity, students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab have additional insight and good morals. So that they can prepare their careers starting from before graduating from college. It is hoped that the trainees will also be able to have a positive influence on other students.
