Release of Students of the History of Islamic Civilization Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten for Professional Field Practicum: Ready to Face the Real World

FUDA I Thursday (June 19, 2025) - The Islamic Civilization History Study Program (SPI), Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University (UIN) Banten, held a release ceremony for students who will undergo Field Professional Practicum (PPL). This activity took place solemnly in the front yard of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, and was attended by lecturers, students, and a number of alumni who also provided encouragement and support.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of PPL as a place to apply knowledge and develop students' professional capacity.

“Today is an important moment for you to begin a professional journey that will provide many valuable experiences. This practicum is not only a means to apply the theories you have learned, but also to develop new skills and insights in understanding Islamic civilization,” said Dr. Hudaeri.

A total of 106 students from the SPI Study Program will carry out field practicum in various agencies in the Serang Regency area. This activity is an integral part of the curriculum to strengthen students' understanding of the history and dynamics of Islamic civilization, not only from a theoretical aspect, but also practically.

The event ended with a prayer led by one of the lecturers, as an expression of hope that all students will be given smoothness and success during the practicum.

This release symbolizes the students' readiness to face the challenges of the professional world as well as the first step in deepening their knowledge of the history of Islamic civilization in various contexts and locations. Hopefully, the practicum participants can return with new experiences and knowledge that will enrich their learning and academic contributions in the future.
