FUDA | Tuesday, August 26, 2025 - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten held a Coordination Meeting involving the Dean, Vice Deans, newly appointed Heads of Study Programs, and educational staff. The educational staff who attended consisted of the Head of Administration, Certain Functional Position (JFT), and administrative staff from Academic and General Affairs. This meeting was held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, as part of the new organizational structure for the 2025-2029 period.
The meeting, which was moderated by the Head of Administration, Raden Suryanto, S.E., not only discussed preparations for various activities that will soon be implemented, but also became a moment of introduction between individuals in the extended family of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab. In addition, this meeting also discussed various program plans that require teamwork to achieve the targets that have been set.
In his speech, the Dean of FUDA, Dr. Masykur, M.Hum., conveyed two main targets during his leadership period. First, the expansion of the faculty into two faculties, namely the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought and the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. Second, improving the accreditation of study programs that will undergo the accreditation process in order to achieve a superior predicate.
Furthermore, the Dean gave directions regarding the implementation of upcoming activities, such as the Introduction of Academic Culture and Student Affairs (PBAK) and preparation for lectures that will begin on September 1, 2025. The Dean emphasized the importance of solid teamwork, as success will not be achieved if each individual works separately. He also pointed out the importance of coordination between the faculty and students' parents and academic advisors to ensure that students can complete their studies on time.
The Vice Dean for Academic and Institutional Affairs, Dr. H. Masrukhin Muhsin, L.C., M.A., discussed the process of preparing the odd semester lecture schedule for the 2025/2026 Academic Year and other preparations that support teaching and learning activities. He also proposed the implementation of short semesters during vacation periods to accelerate student achievement. In addition, the Vice Dean expressed his support for lecturers who are preparing to become professors, with the institution's commitment to assist the process.
Meanwhile, the Vice Dean for General Administration, Planning, and Finance, Dr. Hj. Eva Syarifah Wardah, M.Hum., explained the details of activities that had and had not been carried out. She requested that budget absorption for faculty activities and student organizations be realized immediately to support the smooth running of all programs.
The meeting was also colored by reports from the Heads of Study Programs who conveyed the best proposals for the progress of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab. The education staff also showed their readiness to support the programs that will be run and strive to provide the best service in the faculty environment.
With the spirit of togetherness and good coordination, the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten is committed to achieving strategic targets for mutual progress.
