FUDA | Tuesday, September 09, 2025 - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten held a Handover of Position (Sertijab) event at the FUDA 2nd Floor Hall on Tuesday, September 09, 2025. This activity became a gathering event between the leaders of the old period and the new period.
Although the change of leadership has been going on since the end of July to August 2025-from the Dean, Vice Dean, Head and Secretary of the Study Program, to the Head of the Laboratory-the handover ceremony could only be held due to the tight agenda of the faculty, especially the preparation of the odd semester lectures for the 2025/2026 academic year.
In his remarks, the Dean of FUDA for the 2021-2025 period, Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of the entire academic community. He reminded that FUDA was previously part of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da'wah, before finally developing into two faculties, namely the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab and the Faculty of Da'wah.
He also reminded “InsyaAllah next year FUDA will host the National Scientific Competition for Ushuluddin Students (KINMU) and the International Seminar. Hopefully our struggle will get better in the future, ”he said.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FUDA was elected for the period 2025-2029, Dr. H. Masykur, M.Hum, emphasized the new spirit in faculty development. He explained that the faculty is currently in the process of being split into the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought and the Faculty of Adab and Humanities.
“Insha'Allah, next semester the Faculty of Adab and Humanities will be able to occupy a new building at Campus 1 Ciceri, Serang City. We will also strengthen collaboration with Ma'had Al-Jami'ah, for example through the Qira'atul Qur'an wa al-Tahfidz (QQWT) course,” he said.
The event continued with the handover of souvenirs between the old and new period Deans, reading prayers by Dr. H. Aang Saeful Milah (Vice Dean for Student Affairs for the 2021-2025 period), and closed with a group photo session.
