Arabic Language and Literature

“Developing the science of Arabic language and literature in the study of classical and modern Arabic texts according to the development of science and digital technology based on Islamic values and local wisdom.”

Mission

Arabic Language and Literature
  1. Able to develop professional HR competencies in the field of Arabic language and literature.
  2. Producing research that supports the development of education and teaching in the field of Arabic language and literature.
  3. Provide community service using all relevant resources.
  4. Providing expertise services to the community in the development of Arabic language and matters related to Islamic sciences.
  5. Establishing cooperation with institutions that are oriented towards the development of Arabic Language and Literature studies at the local, national, regional and international levels by carrying out concrete programs in order to educate the nation.

The Arabic Language and Literature Study Program is responsible for producing quality alumni. The prospects of graduates of Arabic Language and Literature are as follows:

  • Translator (Document/Book)
  • Interpreter (Oral/Direct)
  • Diplomat or Embassy Staff
  • Tour Guide (Hajj, Umrah, or Middle Eastern Travelers)
  • Teacher or Lecturer
  • Journalist or Overseas Correspondent
  • Content Writer (Arabic)
  • Beginner Muhaddis

    Mastering theories of hadith in general, being able to distinguish between sahih, hasan and dha'if hadith, and being able to apply the values in hadith to social life.

  • Researcher/Hadith Activist

    Able to research social religious fields with various methods or approaches, including the Living Hadith/Sunnah approach.

  • Islamic Religion Teacher

    Able to teach hadith in particular or religion in general competitively. Before becoming a teacher, alumni are required to take PPG (Teacher Professional Education).

  • Religious Counselor

    Able to provide religious counseling at the village or sub-district level, both public and private

  • Entrepreneur

    Able to do business in the private sector with the values of the Prophet's hadith, as taught by the Prophet Muhammad.
