Journalism is an elective skill course projected to provide expertise and skills in the field of journalism, so that students have the basic ability to become journalists. This course discusses: journalistic principles and history; journalistic duties; journalistic language; procedures for writing news, features, articles, editorials, reportage; interview techniques; editing writing; mass media management; and journalistic code of ethics. This is achieved through learning efforts by mastering various theories of journalism, as well as through direct practice in the field.
