Cirebon I Tuesday (December 17, 2024) - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten carried out Benchmarking activities to the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Siber Syekh Nurdjati Cirebon on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. The departure was led directly by Vice Dean II Dr. Hj. Eva Syarifah Wardah which was followed by, among others, the Head of the Hatta Raharja Study Program and the Secretary of the Study Program, along with several lecturers, then the Head of Administration along with several education personnel of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab.
The arrival of the group from the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten was warmly welcomed by the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Siber Sheikh Nurdjati Cirebon. Benchmarking activities were held in the meeting room of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab Uin Siver SYekh Nurdjati Cirebon. The theme of this Benchmarking activity in general is the Transformation of Academic Services Based on Digital Technology.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Siver Syekh Nurdjati Cirebon said that in general at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab administrative services mostly use digital services online, no longer using paper. Everything is already systemized in digital programs.
Dean of FUA UIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon, Dr. H. Anwar Sanusi, M.Ag., added that his office is ready to share innovations, including in creating a digital technology-based academic environment. “Transforming higher education through technology is our main vision, and this activity is a means to learn and develop together,” he explained.
This activity was filled with in-depth discussion sessions on technology-based faculty management, innovative curriculum development, and research collaboration. Participants were also invited to visit various academic support facilities, including the distance learning (PJJ) studio which is the mainstay of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati in digital transformation.
In the Best Practices session, both faculties shared their experiences on innovations in digital learning and faculty management strategies in the digital era.
As the highlight of the event, a memorandum of agreement was signed between the Arabic Language and Literature (BSA) Study Programs of both faculties. From UIN Siber Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon, the signing was done by Erfan Gazali, M.Si., and Wulandari, MA.Hum, while from UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, by the Head of Study Program Hatta Raharja, M.A., and Secretary of Study Program Yetti Hasnah, S.S., M.Hum. This memorandum of agreement is expected to be the beginning of cooperation in curriculum development, joint research, and other collaborative programs.
This benchmarking activity ended with optimism from both institutions to continue to strengthen synergies in various fields, including education, research, and community service. Both Faculties provide input to each other in educational services, especially the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten who get a lot of information about digital technology services.
