Exploring the Potential of Generation Z, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten Visit SMAN 1 Cikande

Cikande, February 27, 2026 - In an effort to expand the academic horizons of high school students, the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) of State Islamic University (UIN) Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten held an intensive socialization event at SMAN 1 Cikande on Friday (27/02).

The event, which took place lively in the school hall, was attended by hundreds of class XII students who seemed enthusiastic about listening to explanations about study opportunities at the state Islamic university.

Attendance of Faculty Leaders

The delegation from the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab was led by the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Endang Saeful Anwar, Lc., M.A, who was accompanied by the Head of Study Program (Kaprodi) and Secretary of Study Program (Sekprodi). The presence of these leaders shows the serious commitment of the faculty in picking up young talents from the Cikande area.

The group included:

 * Head of Department of Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy (AFI)

 * Head of the Department of Qur'anic Science and Tafsir (IAT)

 * Head of the Islamic Library and Information Science (IPII) Department

 * Secretary of Hadith Science (IH)

 * Secretary of History of Islamic Civilization (SPI)

Building Character and the Future

In his remarks, Vice Dean III Dr. Endang Saeful Anwar, MA, emphasized that the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab is not just a place to learn textual religious knowledge, but a crater of candradimuka to form critical reasoning and character that is relevant to the needs of the times.

> “We want to show the younger siblings at SMAN 1 Cikande that FUDA graduates have broad career opportunities, ranging from academics, researchers, to practitioners in the field of information and history who have high moral integrity,” he said to the participants.

Student Enthusiasm

The discussion session was the most interactive part, where students asked about the entry path, scholarship facilities, and specific job prospects of each study program. The direct presence of the Heads of Study Programs made it easier for students to get valid information about the curriculum and excellence of each department.

SMAN 1 Cikande school welcomed this initiative. They hope that this socialization can motivate students to continue their education to a higher level, especially at UIN SMH Banten which is an icon of higher education in Banten Province.

In her speech, one of the counseling teachers of SMAN 1 Cikande, Siti Rahayu Nurfadhilah, expressed her appreciation to FUDA Goes to School which has provided broad insights for students about the world of lectures, especially at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) UIN SMH Banten.

Also fosters high motivation for students to continue their education to a higher level. Helps students recognize their potential and future career choices.
