FUDA | Monday (05/20/2024) - The FUDA delegation of Banten State Islamic University, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab participated in the ADIA 2024 International Conference held in Banda Aceh.
On May 17-20, 2024, the city of Banda Aceh became the center of attention of Indonesian academics when it hosted the prestigious ADIA 2024 (Association of Adab Science Lecturers) event with the theme (according to the flyer). This event attracted the attention of scientists and academics from various PTKIN throughout Indonesia, including nine lecturers from the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, including Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag (Dean), Dr. Sholahuddin Al Ayubi (Vice Dean), Dr. Eva Syarifah Wardah, M. Hum, Jainul Abidin, M.Si (BPP), Mohamad Rifai, M.Pd (Head), M. Nandang Sunandar, M.A (Secretary of SPI Study Program), Yetti Hasnah, M.Hum (Secretary of BSA Study Program), Angga Pusaka Hidayat, M.Hum (GKM SPI), Verry Mardiyanto, M.A (Secretary of IPII Study Program) who became representatives of these various institutions.
Carrying the theme “Strengthening the Study of Adab Sciences in an Islamic Perspective in the Modern Era,” this conference became a very dynamic and productive discussion for the participants who attended. The attendees who came were also active in contributing their thoughts and latest research results in various discussion sessions, seminars, and presentations on the study program's knowledge.
The representative lecturers expressed their excitement at being able to participate in this prestigious event. Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag, Dean of FUDA at Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University Banten, stated, “Participation in ADIA 2024 provides an opportunity for us to share knowledge, expand academic networks, and gain new insights into the development of the sciences of adab in the current context.”
In addition to enriching academic insights, the presence of these representative lecturers is also expected to strengthen collaboration between-PTKIN in the development of the sciences of adab in Indonesia. They hope that through the exchange of ideas and experiences at this kind of event, they can continue to make significant contributions to the development of science and understanding of Islamic values in the community.
The four-day event was also supported by various related institutions and organizations, and received a warm welcome from the local government. The success of ADIA 2024 is also expected to provide a positive impetus for efforts to develop science and Islamic higher education in Indonesia.
