FUDA | Wednesday (28/08/2024) - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Sultan Maulana Hasandduin Banten held an International Conference Aosisasi Ilmu Hadis (ASILHA) Indonesia Year 2024 held on August 28, 2024 at the Audatorium Rectorate Lt.3 UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten.
The event was held from August 27 to 29, 2024, and carried the theme: “Challenging And Strengthening Digital Hadith In New Media” in order to strengthen digital hadith in media in the modern era.
The ASILHA International Conference series of events began on August 27, with more than 55 participants from Islamic Universities in Indonesia, including IAIN Kediri, UIN Aceh, IAIN Gorontalo, IDAU, IAIN Madura, IAIN Kudus, PTIQ University Jakarta, Postgraduate UIN Suska Riau, UIN Tulung Agung, UIN Banarmasin, UIN Jakarta, UIN Bukit Tinggi, UIN Bandung, UIN Cirebon, UIN Sunan Ampel, UIN Padang, UIN Salatiga, UIN Makassar, Islamic University Daarusalam Ciamis, and several Islamic universities.
The speakers in this activity included Dr. Ahmad Hassan Waked (Professor of Al-Azhar University Cairo Egypt), Prof. Madya Dr. Sayed Najihuddin (Professor of Hadith University Sains Ialam Malaysia), Prof. H. M. Anton Athoilah, M.M. (Chairman of ASILHA), Prof. Dr. Saifuddin Zuhri Qudsyi, M.A, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Irfan Helmy, Lc., M.A..
In the first speech by the Chairperson of the Committee for organizing the ASILHA International Converence activities, Muhammad Alif thanked the attendees who attended both from the Participants, invited guests and the UIN SMH Banten Community consisting of Leaders, Educators and Education Personnel and students.
The Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab also conveyed how to maximize digital hadith in this modern era in the context of developing this Indonesian Islamic University. Because in Fuda it is in accordance with the existing majors to develop Islamic science which is very basic in Indonesia.
Then Prof. Anton Athoilah said this ASILHA International Conference activity must continue. This association is open to anyone who wants to join, not only hadith science lecturers, even though their education is not a bachelor's degree. Let's organize activities that synergize for the good of all of us. He also said how in the future, the profession of expertise in the field of Religion can also be paired with a sign like a Doctor, because it is an expertise. This will be discussed on the night of the Banten Declaration.
Finally in his remarks, the Rector of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten opened up opportunities as well as strengthening digital hadith in the media. For this reason, in every class at this UIN as well as in the framework of the anniversary of UIN SMH Banten, there are touching traditions to be installed in the classroom, so that students not only understand the Qur'an, but also memorize many hadith. For this reason, the digitization of hadith continues to be maximized in the discussion of hadith.
On August 29 as well as the closing of the ASILHA International Conference, the participants will hold a visit to Banten lama as a form of adding insight into the local culture in Banten.
