FUDA UIN SMH Banten Holds International Workshop with Bajdah Educational Saudi Arabia

Serang - Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten again strengthened the global academic network by organizing International Workshop with Bajdah Educational. Activities that are carried out in hybrid The event featured keynote speaker Khaled Ibrahim an-Namlah, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bajdah Educational Saudi Arabia and Instructor Dr. Siti Shalihah, from the International Office of UIN SMH Banten.

This international workshop was attended by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab as well as participants from various institutions who joined online. This activity is part of an effort to strengthen international academic collaboration as well as open space for the exchange of ideas in the development of Islamic studies at the global level.

In his presentation, Prof. Khaled Ibrahim an-Namlah emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Islamic educational institutions in various countries to face the increasingly complex challenges of the times. According to him, Islamic universities have a strategic role in developing knowledge that is not only rooted in classical scientific traditions, but also responsive to the development of the modern world.

“Cross-country academic cooperation is very important to enrich scientific perspectives. Islamic universities must be able to build synergies in research development, academic exchanges, and strengthening the capacity of students and lecturers,” said Prof. Khaled.

He also appreciated the commitment of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten which continues to strive to expand international networks in the fields of education and research.

“I see a very good spirit from FUDA UIN SMH Banten in building global collaboration. Activities such as this international workshop are important steps to bring together various thoughts and academic experiences from various countries,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, Masykur, M.Hum., said that this international workshop was part of the faculty's commitment to improving academic quality while expanding international cooperation networks.

According to him, the involvement of global partners such as Bajdah Educational Saudi Arabia is a strategic opportunity for lecturers and students to gain new insights in the development of Islamic studies.

“We really appreciate the cooperation with Bajdah Educational Saudi Arabia. This workshop is an important space for the exchange of academic knowledge and experience, as well as opening up opportunities for wider collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service,” said the Dean.

He also hopes that this activity can be the first step to strengthening more concrete international cooperation, such as collaborative research programs, student and lecturer exchanges, and the development of joint scientific publications.

With the implementation of this international workshop, the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten hopes to continue to strengthen its position as a center for the development of Islamic studies that is open to global dialogue and cross-country collaboration.
