FUDA UIN SMH Banten Committed to Realizing Inclusive Education through KIP College Selection in 2025

FUDA I 04 February 2025 - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten participated in supporting the implementation of the selection process for the Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) Lecture Scholarship for prospective new students for the 2025/2026 academic year with UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. This activity is organized as a form of campus commitment in providing access to higher education to young people who have academic potential but are economically limited.

The selection process is carried out strictly by involving document verification, interviews, and assessment of the socio-economic conditions of prospective recipients. This is so that the KIP Kuliah scholarship is truly targeted, in accordance with the government's mandate in realizing inclusive and equitable education.

The KIP Lecture Program is one of the government's efforts to provide higher education opportunities to the nation's children who have good academic potential but are economically constrained. FUDA UIN SMH Banten actively supports this program, with the hope of producing a young generation that is superior, moral, and contributes significantly to society.

Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten, Dr. Masykur, M.Hum., said that “The selection of KIP Lecture is part of our efforts to ensure that the opportunity to pursue higher education is truly open to all people, including those who are economically disadvantaged. The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab is committed to producing graduates who not only excel academically, but also have integrity and high social care. I hope that the KIP Lecture recipients at this Faculty can be role models and clear evidence that economic limitations do not hinder achievement.”

Meanwhile, Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation of FUDA UIN SMH Banten, Dr. Endang Saeful Anwar, Lc., M.A. added, “We in the field of student affairs fully support the implementation of this KIP Lecture selection. Every year we see how much enthusiasm new students have to compete for KIP scholarships. This shows that the KIP Lecture program is truly a hope for them. We will continue to assist and facilitate recipient students so that they can develop, be active in organizations, and maintain their academic achievements.”.

The Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) Lecture scholarship program in 2025 has been registered from 1 to 6 September 2025. The following is an explanation of registration procedures and requirements as quoted from the uinbanten.ac.id page.

Enrollment Process and Requirements

Eligible students must apply online through the following page  bit.ly/registerKIPUINSMHB2025

  • Beneficiaries: This program is intended for students who graduated from Madrasah Aliyah (MA), Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan (MAK), or Vocational High School (SMK) who graduated in the current year or one year earlier.
  • Registration Pathway: Applicants must come from the SNMPTN, SNBT, SPAN-PTKIN, UM-PTKIN, and PMB Mandiri pathways.
  • Economic Aspect: This program is prioritized for students from underprivileged families recorded in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) or who have a certificate of poverty from the Village Head or Lurah. Prospective scholarship recipients must also demonstrate good academic potential supported by valid documentary evidence.

  • Online registration: September 1-6, 2025.
  • Physical file collection: September 8, 2025.
  • File selection: September 9-16, 2025.
  • Announcement of file selection: September 18, 2025.
  • Interview: September 22-23, 2025.
  • Online factual verification: September 24-25, 2025.
  • Designation of recipients: September 30, 2025.
  • Account opening: October 1-3, 2025.
  • Fund disbursement: Starting October 6, 2025.

Students who pass the file selection are required to attend an interview and complete other requirements. The physical file must be sent to the Academic and Student Affairs Division of the Rectorate Building Lt. 1 UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten.
