Fuda 1, Wednesday, (23 April 2025) - The Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy (AFI) Study Program Student Association (HMPS) has successfully organized an activity entitled “Design Class” which took place at the AFI Laboratory, 2nd floor of the Fuda Building, Campus 2 UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. This activity was enthusiastically attended by students of Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy Study Program who have an interest in graphic design.
This design class presented Aldy Arizal as the speaker. He is a student of the same study program and has an understanding and experience in the field of graphic design. In his presentation, he explained the basic principles of graphic design as follows:
- Design is both an art form and a profession that focuses on visual communication and presentation of information.
- Graphic design uses a variety of methods combined with symbols, photos, images and text to create and convey ideas or messages to an audience.
- Graphic design was born from a combination of art processes and technological advances, both in print and digital form.
In today's digital era, skills in the field of design are very important. Therefore, the implementation of this design class aims to improve student competence in graphic design that is relevant to today's technological developments.
The benefits that can be obtained through this design class activity include:
- Broaden your knowledge and understanding of the latest graphic design techniques.
- Improve skills in operating design software.
- Hone your creative and innovative thinking skills.
- Apply design knowledge and skills in real-world projects, both in academic and professional settings.
Thus, this design class is expected to be a means of self-development for students in the field of graphic design, so that they can be better prepared to face the challenges of the world of work and in the future.
