HMPS SPI Holds 28th Anniversary

FUDA I 25 September 2025 - The History of Islamic Civilization (SPI) Study Program of the Faculty of Ushuluddin & Adab UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten successfully organized 28th Anniversary on Wednesday-Thursday, September 24-25, 2025. This activity took place in the Second Floor Hall and the faculty yard with the theme “Traversing Time, Bringing Civilization to Life, Painted in the Light of the Past and the Color of the Future.” The theme is a reminder of the importance of emulating history as a foothold in coloring the future.

Series of Events

The opening began on Wednesday morning with a welcome dance, recitation of the holy verses of the Qur'an, singing the Indonesia Raya Song, and the Hymn of UIN SMH Banten. The report of the chief executive was delivered by Ahmad Luthfi Mubarok, followed by remarks from various figures, including:

  • Alan Maulana (Chairman of HMPS SPI 2025)
  • Tita Tasbihah (FUDA DEMA representative)
  • Angga Pusaka, S.S., M.Hum. (Secretary of SPI Study Program)
  • Dr. Endang Saepul Anwar, M.A. (representative of FUDA Dean)
  • Zaenal Abidin, S.Ag., M.Si. (former Head of SPI Study Program)

All remarks emphasized the importance of cohesiveness, scientific tradition, and the role of SPI students in maintaining the nation's civilization.

The event continued with Historical Seminar titled “Civilization and the Future of the Nation” presenting speaker Dr. Muhammad Shoheh, M.A., who discussed the relevance of historical values in the direction of nation building in the modern era. After the seminar, a procession of cutting tumpeng and eating together was held as a form of gratitude.

Peak Night

In the evening, the atmosphere was further enlivened by student band performances as well as “Widorokandang” poetry puppet show” by puppeteer Mr. Ibnu PS Megananda. The combination of art, history and literature captivated the audience. In addition, there were also 2025 Islamic Civilization History Ambassador Grand Finalists which showcases the creativity, intellect, and dedication of SPI students.

Closure

The activity officially closed Thursday evening, September 25, 2025, with a joint prayer, ant operation as a symbol of togetherness, and a warm sayonara session.

The committee expressed its appreciation to all presenters, invited guests, students, and supporters. Alhamdulillah, the 28th Anniversary of the History of Islamic Civilization Study Program went smoothly and successfully.
