FUDA | October 11, 2025 - Study Program of Al-Qur'an Science and Tafsir (IAT), Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, implemented Field Assessment (AL) from National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the FUDA Second Floor Hall.
This assessment is part of the study program accreditation process to assess the quality of higher education implementation. Based on BAN-PT Task Letter Number 1318/BAN-PT/ST/IX/2025 September 25, 2025, the assessor team consisted of two experts, namely Prof. Muh. Tasrif, M.Ag. from IAIN Ponorogo and Prof. Dr. Islah Gusmian, M.Ag. from UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Both assignments took place on October 10-12, 2025.
The arrival of the assessor team was warmly welcomed by Rector and Vice Rector of UIN SMH Banten, the Dean of Faculty, Heads of institutions and UPTs, and FUDA leaders, lecturers, and education personnel. The atmosphere was further enlivened by a welcome by Ushuluddin and Adab Faculty Ambassador that displays traditional dance from Banten, also attended by alumni and students of IAT Study Program.
In his speech, Rector of UIN SMH Banten Prof. Dr.H.M. Ishom expressed his appreciation for the hard work of the IAT Study Program team in preparing for this assessment.
“I welcome the arrival of the assessors and the entire academic community in attendance. The team has worked hard to maximize the success of this activity. My hope is that this assessment can validate the quality of the Qur'anic Science and Tafsir Study Program based on Qur'anic values. Hopefully, what is less bright will become brighter, and what is not clear will become clearer,” said the Rector.
Meanwhile, Prof. Muh. Tasrif, M.Ag., as the assessor, also expressed his happiness for the welcome given.
“I am happy to be able to stay in touch with FUDA UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. The welcome we received was extraordinary. We hope that IAT Study Program can be equal to other excellent study programs. Our job is to confirm what has been written in LED and LKPS, so that the less bright becomes bright, the doubt becomes sure. The final result is of course in accordance with fate, we only report it to BAN-PT,” he said.
The activity ends with closing prayer and group photo session, then continued with the implementation of the field assessment by the assessor team which was attended by the entire academic community of UIN SMH Banten.
