Attack - State Islamic University Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin (UIN SMH) Banten again made a proud achievement through the organization of Selection of Campus Ambassadors 2025, The ambassadorship is an annual agenda that serves as an actualization space for students to develop their potential, talents, intelligence, and personality as well as to represent the campus in various official forums. This activity not only highlights the intellectual intelligence of the participants, but also emphasizes the importance of personality values, communication skills, and social care which are the main characters of an ambassador.
Atmosphere and Way of Activity
This year's Campus Ambassador selection took place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, located at Rectorate Hall 3rd Floor, The venue was transformed into a grand and elegant space with a main stage adorned with modern ornaments and a touch of Banten culture. The spotlights, blue-gold decorations, and multimedia displays made the election night even more lively and enthusiastic.

The presence of various ambassador communities from outside the campus provides its own color, while showing that this activity has become one of the prestigious events valued by the educational environment and youth organizations in Banten Province.
Welcome and Inspirational Message from the Leader
In the opening remarks, Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Cooperation gave great appreciation to the committee, participants, and all parties involved in the success of the activity.
“The selection of Campus Ambassadors is not just a competition, but is a process of character building and finding student figures who are able to become iconic campus. We hope that the finalists can be role models for other students, as well as bring the good name of UIN SMH Banten in various national and international activities,” he said, greeted with applause from the audience.
He also emphasized that this event aims to realize students with comprehensive competencies that are in line with the campus vision in building superior, moral, and globally competitive generations.
Strict and Tiered Selection Process
The selection of UIN SMH Banten 2025 Campus Ambassador was followed by 29 participants from five faculties. They had to pass through various selection stages designed to test different aspects of the participants' abilities. The assessment process took place over several weeks and included:
Administrative Selection
Includes checking data completeness, academic achievement, and organizational history.Individual Interview
The panel of judges tested communication skills, critical thinking, personality, and campus insight.Talent Show
The participants showcased their best talents, ranging from dance, music, storytelling, public speaking, to pencak silat.General and Religious Knowledge Test
Measuring the breadth of participants' insights related to national, global and Islamic issues.Quarantine and Debriefing
The finalists were given materials on public relations, etiquette, student advocacy, and public speaking.
After all these steps, only Top 12 finalists who made it through to the grand final.
The culmination of the event and announcement of the winners
On the summit night, all finalists performed confidently in various assessment sessions, ranging from formal fashion parades, question and answer sessions, to attitude and character assessments on stage. Each participant showed their best qualities in front of the judges and hundreds of spectators who filled the room.
In the end, the two best participants were selected as UIN SMH Banten Campus Ambassador 2025, namely:
Duta Kampus Putra: Yayan Ahyani (Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan)
Female Campus Ambassador: Siti Muliya Septiani Turaedi (Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab)
The election of Siti Muliya Septiani Turaedi is a matter of pride for the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, especially the Al-Qur'an and Tafsir Science Study Program (IAT), because this achievement shows that FUDA students are able to compete academically, personality, and communication skills with other faculties.

The Strategic Role of Selected Ambassadors
As much as 12 ambassadors selected has the responsibility of being the official representation of the campus in various programs, among others:
Become the face of the campus in promotional activities and new student admissions
Participating in official visits to various educational institutions and agencies
Engage in social activities, community service, and student empowerment
Become a mediator between students and campus parties related to student activities
Supporting UIN SMH Banten's public relations programs
They will also receive further coaching, including training in public relations, communication ethics, and social project development.

Through this event, UIN SMH Banten hopes to continue to produce the best ambassadors who are not only academically smart, but also have strong character, high social awareness, and good communication skills. The ambassadors are expected to become role models for other students in building a superior, creative, and competitive academic culture.
