The importance of improving the quality of community resources (HR) and academic services through impactful digitalization. In the current era of digitalization, the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten is committed to improving the quality of academic services and human resources in order to create scientific innovation and creativity for local, regional and global communities.
The vision of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab is “to become a faculty in the field of Ushuluddin and Adab that is superior, internationally reputable, to realize an impactful society”. To achieve this vision, a strategy is set to improve the quality of services and academic human resources (HR) through digitalization. One of the strategies we do is to plan learning through curriculum, Graduate Learning Outcomes (LLO), and Semester Learning Plan (RPS).
The curriculum we set is based on the faculty's vision, mission, goals and strategies. We set clear and measurable SLOs to ensure that our graduates have the competencies needed by society. The RPS that we create has also been adjusted to the SLOs and curriculum to ensure that the learning process is effective and efficient.
The main purpose of higher education in Indonesia, including State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN), is to develop students' potential to become human beings who are faithful, pious, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and cultural; produce competitive graduates; produce science and technology; and realize community service to educate the nation's life, as stated in Law No. 12/2012 on Higher Education.
In the context of PTKIN, the main objectives of higher education include improving the quality of human resources who have strong religious abilities and can integrate religious values in everyday life. This is in accordance with the vision and mission of UIN SMH Banten which aims to improve the quality of human resources who are faithful, pious, and noble, and have high academic and professional abilities. In addition, we plan a roadmap for research and community service. This roadmap is based on the vision, mission, goals, and strategies of the faculty, as well as the needs of the community. At the same time, we set performance indicators to monitor the progress of research and community service.
Monitoring and evaluation of processes, outcomes, and impacts based on the quality assurance management cycle used in the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) of higher education institutions in Indonesia, namely PPEPP (Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement) of the Higher Education standards on an ongoing basis is an important part of our strategy. We establish an effective monitoring and evaluation system to ensure that the learning, research, and community service processes run according to plan and achieve the set goals.
In the era of digitalization, we utilize information technology to improve the quality of academic and non-academic services and human resources. We develop an academic information system that can be accessed by students, lecturers, and the community (users, graduates, cooperation partners) to monitor academic progress and improve communication between lecturers, students, and the community.
Faculty digitization through the official website www.fuda.uinbanten.ac.id and official faculty social media. Through the website and social media, we provide up-to-date information on academic, research, and community service activities, as well as other non-academic information relevant to the needs of students and the community. The website and social media also provide access to various academic resources, such as journals, articles, and books, which can be accessed by students and lecturers. Social media is used to promote faculty activities and achievements, as well as to improve communication with the community.
Thus, we hope to improve the quality of human resources and academic services through impactful digitalization, as well as increase community awareness and participation in academic and social activities.
