Biography

Hatta Raharja, born in Jakarta on February 22, 1980, is the Head of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. He earned his B.S. and M.A. degrees at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta and is currently pursuing a doctoral program at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Yogyakarta, with a concentration in Ad-Dirāsah al-Islāmiyyah wal-‘Arabiyyah (ADIA).

His expertise includes Arabic Linguistics, especially Semantics and Pragmatics, with various publications, such as “Arabic Punctuation” and “Lafẓ “Al-Auliyā’” baina an-Naṣṣ wa al-Wāqi‘”. He is also active as a member of IQLAB and supervisor of Religious Book Assessment at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

With dedication in research and teaching, Hatta Raharja contributes to the development of Arabic language and literature in Indonesia.
