Biography

Muhamad Nandang Sunandar, born in Serang, is a lecturer in the History of Islamic Civilization (SPI) Study Program at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. He earned his S.Hum degree at the UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten campus and M.A. at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta and is now pursuing a doctoral program at the Postgraduate School (SPs) of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, with a concentration in the History of Islamic Civilization.

His areas of scientific concentration include the History of Islamic Civilization, Islamic Historiography and the History of Islamic Arts. He is also active as a member of the Association of Adab Sciences Lecturers (ADIA), the Association of Islamic History Study Programs throughout Indonesia (APSII), the Association of History Study Programs throughout Indonesia (PPSI) and as a Facilitator of High School Movers in Banten Province.

In addition, he is also active in researching various historical studies and doing community service, joining various organizations such as the Provincial MUI, ICMI Serang City, and Lakpesdam NU Serang City.
