This book aims to reconstruct the identity of urang Banten from a historical and cultural perspective.

Prof. Stéphane Lacroix gave high appreciation to the book Urang Banten, The movie is also an educational one because it brings up history that is not widely known, including the history of the kingdoms in Banten.

The seminar also featured presentations from several other academics, including:

  • Dr. Yanwar Pribadi, which discusses part of the book Urang Banten with a focus on Islamic History and Identity.

  • M. Ali Fadhilah, The title of the book carries great historical and cultural weight. • Umdatul Hasanah, This is a book that highlights the importance of the role of women in Banten's history. She hopes that this book can be a window to a wider study of Banten women, including important figures such as Maya Ulfah, the first female Minister from Banten.

This activity was attended by the Dean of FUDA, lecturers, students from various faculties, and invited guests from various universities outside UIN SMH Banten. The enthusiasm of the participants can be seen from their activeness in listening and discussing with the speakers.
