FUDA | Friday 06/10/2023 - In order to improve the quality of students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab in the field of writing scientific papers, the Dean of FUDA organized Journal Writing Training (PESANJU) activities for students. This activity was held on Thursday, 05 - Friday, October 06, 2023, at the FUDA 2nd floor conference room, campus 2 UIN SMH Banten.
PESANJU was attended by 30 FUDA students who passed the selection and were entitled to become participants. Each participant represented their respective study programs, ranging from semester 3 to semester 7. This training activity aims to train the skills of FUDA students in writing scientific articles that can be published in scientific journals. This is also a demand that must be met for academics.
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. H. Aang Saeful Milah, M.A., represented the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab to open the PESANJU activity. He said that PESANJU is the first step to encourage FUDA students to be able to appear and struggle in writing scientific articles and publish them in journals.
“The participants that I am proud of, in the current era we are required to present scientific work that can be enjoyed by others, not only within the scope of higher education, but throughout the world. Therefore, this PESANJU activity has high hopes for all selected participants to seriously train their skills in writing scientific articles, and then be published in the Journal.” Dr. H. Aang explained.
The resource person for PESANJU activities came from outside the Ministry of Religion, namely Dr. H. Nurul Huda, M.A, who is the Head of the Research Division of FKPT Kab. Lebak. He delivered material about writing scientific articles with journal standards starting from the basics to being able to be published in scientific journals. He also motivated all participants to continue their passion for writing.
“Being a researcher, especially you as students of the younger generation must have a high spirit. Because if you want to be remembered in this world, one way is to write and produce useful work. Because writing will remain remembered, even though the body is buried in the ground.” Said Dr. H. Nurul Huda, M.A.
At the end of the session, Dr. H. Nurul Huda, M.A. also gave book door prizes to active participants. This made the PESANJU participants enthusiastically follow every series of material presented. PESANJU activities are also filled by lecturers who have participated in Academic Writing in Yogyakarta. The lecturers were Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag., Dr. Hj Eva Syarifah Wardah, M.Hum., Dr. H. Aang Saeful Milah, M.A., Dr. H. Endang Saeful Anwar, L.C., M.A., Dr. H. Masrukhin Muhsin, L.C., M.A., Dr. H. Badrudin, M.Ag., Dr. H. Syafiin Mansyur, M.A., and Dr. Mohamad Shoheh, M.A. They shared tips and motivation on how to write journal articles.
The Dean of FUDA, Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag., directly closed the PESANJU activity on Friday, October 06, 2023. He said in his speech, that the current young generation is the scientific successor for the future.
“We need Re-Generation to progress in science, with this we need you (students) to continue and revive this science by publishing the research you study. Being a researcher must have broad knowledge, because the science studied will become information that is useful for many people. ”Said Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag.
The activity went smoothly and was closed with a group photo. Hopefully Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab students can become academics who are beneficial to the wider community.
