FUDA I Tuesday, May 06, 2025 - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten conducted a cooperation agreement with the Mulia Kreatif Banten Entrepreneurial Boarding School on Monday, May 06, 2025, at the FUDA 2nd floor hall.
This activity was attended by drg. Imam Rulyawan, MARS as the Director of Pesantren and H. Iin Mansyur as the Pesantren Supervisor from the Entrepreneurial Pesantren. While from the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, the Dean, Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, Certain Functional Positions (JFT), and implementers of the General and Academic Administration sections were also present.
This cooperation agreement aims to facilitate students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab who will be fostered for 3 months at the Entrepreneur Pesantren, to learn about entrepreneurship and build business ventures.
In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, Mohamad Hudaeri, introduced the condition of the faculty, both in terms of study programs and available facilities. He said, “I want students to have an entrepreneurial spirit.” Therefore, he welcomed this cooperation and hoped that in the future various activities that encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship can be held such as seminars, studium generale, and cooperation in Professional Practicum oriented to business potential.
Drg. Imam Rulyawan, MARS, expressed his gratitude to be able to stay in touch with the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab. He said that this activity is part of the effort to realize “Golden Indonesia” by forming entrepreneurial characters among students. For the first stage, the pesantren will accept 20 female students (while only female), and it is planned to open it also for male students in the future.
The Pesantren Entrepreneur program not only provides entrepreneurship training, but also provides a study of Tafsir Ayat al-Qur'an and Business Fiqh. Students will live in a dormitory for 3 months and obtain a certificate to support their soft skills during their studies. In addition, there will be a selection of the best participants to become prospective caregivers at the pesantren.
The Entrepreneur Pesantren is also coached by Umar Usman Business School and Pesantren Sulaimaniah, strengthening the quality of training and experience of participants. The program is free of charge, making it a valuable opportunity for students.
Pesantren Trustee, H. Iin Mansyur expressed his openness to input and suggestions from the faculty, considering that this pesantren is the result of waqf which wants to maximize its benefits.
As a follow-up to the collaboration, the Head of the FUDA Arabic Language and Literature Study Program also established a separate collaboration with the Entrepreneur Pesantren to open up opportunities for further activities that are more applicable.
The signing of this cooperation was closed with an interactive dialog and question and answer session, then ended with a group photo that strengthened the atmosphere of intimacy among the participants.
