FUDA | Friday (24/11/2023) - Alya Syarifah, Sulistiawati Taning Asih, and Sarifudin are students of the Al-Qur'an and Tafsir Science Study Program (IAT), Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanudin Banten who passed the selection of presenters at the 7th Panel Conference of JSR 2023. The conference was held on November 24, 2023 at UIN KH. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. The activity with the theme “Reconsidering Peaceful Transformation” presented Dr. Agus Fakhrina (UIN Pekalongan), Dr. Muh. Najib Asca (Gajah Mada University), and A. Zainal Arifin, PH. D (Editor in Chief of Reflective Sociology Journal). As well as several reviewers from several accredited journals.
Alya, Sulis, and Sarif, delivered panel sessions with different titles. Alya made the theme Youth & Lifestyles as her research concentration with the title “Childfree in the Perspective of Religions Reviewed in the sustainability of human Civilization”. Meanwhile, Sulis and Sarif made the theme of Religion & Tradition as the focus of their research. Sulis herself raised the title “The Local Wisdom and Cultural Interpretation of the meaning Verses of Purnama Holy Water in Lontar Tirtayasa, Serang Banten”, and Sarif raised the title “Religion and the Environmental Agenda, Study of Religious Communities in Indonesia in Overcoming Enviromental Problems”.
The three FUDA UIN SMH Banten students have previously received special guidance and motivation from their mentors. The three of them also often attend journal writing training organized by Fakulas Ushuluddin and Adab, and UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. The provision they got finally led them to the 7th Panel Conference of JRS 2023 event until they were selected as presenters at the event.
The 7th Panel Conference of JRS 2023 held at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab and Da'wah, UIN KH. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan was attended by academics from various universities both from lecturers and students. Therefore, the presence of 3 FUDA UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanudin Banten students is a pride for the academic community of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanudin Banten, especially the IAT Study Program.
