Upgrading and Work Meeting of HMPS Islamic Library and Information Science with the theme: “FOMO (Flourish, Openness, Mindful, Optimize)”

The Islamic Library and Information Science Study Program Student Association (HMPS IPII) of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University Banten successfully held an Upgrading and Work Meeting (RAKER) at FUDA Hall Lt. 2, Campus 2 UIN SMH Banten. With the theme FOMO (Flourish, Openness, Mindful, Optimize), this event is the first step to strengthen organizational capacity and develop more effective and innovative work strategies.
The meaning of the FOMO theme is not just a slogan, but has a deep meaning that reflects great hope for the progress of HMPS IPII:

  1. Flourish: Develop well and flourish.
  2. Openness: Openness in accepting new ideas, transparency in communication, and honesty in the organization.
  3. Mindful: Full awareness in action and paying attention to one's surroundings.
  4. Optimize: Optimize potential and work efficiently.
    Upgrading: Improving Organizational Quality
    As an organization that continues to grow, upgrading is an important momentum to form a board that is better prepared to face challenges. In this session, participants were briefed by experienced speakers:
  5. Management, Organization, and Leadership (MOK) by Tarpi Setiawan - Discusses how to build a solid organization, effective leadership strategies, and team management to work optimally.
  6. Guidelines for the Implementation of Orderly Administration (PPTA) by Zaenal Ihya - Provides an understanding of the importance of organizational administration, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and techniques for preparing neat and systematic administrative documents.
    Through this session, each board is expected to understand and implement more modern and professional organizational standards.
    Work Meeting: Strategizing and Performance Evaluation
    After the upgrading session, the activity continued with the Work Meeting (RAKER) which aims to develop work program plans and evaluate previous achievements. This meeting includes:
  7. Discussion of organizational agenda and rules
  8. Preparation and presentation of work programs from each department
  9. Ratification and determination of work program results
    One of the main focuses in this meeting is the orderly administration of the organization that refers to the KBM Law No. 1 Year 2024, which emphasizes the importance of secretarial and organizational attributes that apply universally throughout the KBM UIN SMH Banten.

    With the end of this event, HMPS IPII is ready to step up with new enthusiasm and stronger commitment. Under the leadership of Noval Safi Albira with the Aksanova Cabinet, HMPS IPII is determined to become a more innovative, adaptive, and rapidly growing organization!
