FUDA | Monday (25/03/2024) - A total of 57 students from various study programs at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) gathered on Monday, March 25, 2024, to take part in the selection of international mobility participants. The selection was held at the FUDA Hall on the 2nd floor and was divided into two stages: a CAT-based Arabic written test and an interview session.
The International Mobility Program for Students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab in 2024 opens registration from March 15-24, 2024. This program is divided into two types, the first is a fully funded scholarship program, and the second is an independent program with funding worth Rp.18,000,000. The requirements for participants and program facilities are as follows.
Participant requirements:
- Active Students of FUDA UIN SMH Banten Semester 2 - 8
- GPA of at least 3.50 for Scholarship Program and at least 3.20 for Independent Program.
- Have a draft article that has never been published
- Able to speak Arabic orally and in writing
- Obtain parental permission
- Passed Selection
- Physically and Mentally Healthy

Dr. Aang Saeful Milah, M.A., chairman of the event committee, stated, “This is a great opportunity for students to gain insight into religious and cultural issues internationally. International mobility will not only broaden academic horizons, but also open doors for valuable cultural exchanges.” Said Dr. Aang in his speech before the selection began.
The quota for international mobility participants for the Scholarship program is only for 3 students. While for the independent program, there are 10 quotas available. So the participants must be serious and compete fairly.
The participant selection stage begins with a written exam in Arabic with a CAT system. Participants worked on 100 questions with a processing time of 60 minutes. After the written test is completed, the participants will then be faced with two examiners to be interviewed, namely Dr. Agus Ali Dzawafi, M.Fil.I., with the test material for National Insight, Religious Moderation, and Islamic Insight. The second examiner is Mr. Muhammad Alif, S.Ag., M.S.i with the exam material, Maharotul Kalam and Maharotul Qiro'ah.
After completing these two selection stages, participants will wait for the results to be announced this weekend, March 30, 2024. The selected students will have the opportunity to join an international mobility program, broaden their academic horizons, and enrich their learning experience through interaction with different cultures abroad.
The selection of international mobility participants marks the commitment of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab in providing the best opportunities for students to develop themselves holistically, not only in terms of academics, but also valuable cross-cultural experiences.
