Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab Officially Opens PPL Orientation for Hadith Science and Islamic Library and Information Science Study Programs

FUDA - Monday, June 16, 2025 - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) of State Islamic University (UIN) Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten held the opening of the Professional Field Practicum Orientation (PPL) for students of the Hadith Science (IH) and Islamic Library and Information Science (IPI) Study Programs. The activity took place in the courtyard of the FUDA Building and was officially opened by the Dean of FUDA, Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag.

A total of 184 students participated in this activity, consisting of 164 students from the Hadith Science Study Program and 20 students from the Islamic Library and Information Science Study Program. This orientation is the initial stage of PPL implementation that students will undergo in various campus partner institutions.

In his speech, Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity, ethics, and the good name of the alma mater while carrying out tasks in the field.

“I urge all students to maintain the spirit of the campus during the PPL implementation. Make your presence a form of real contribution, and show the best image to the community and the institution where you serve,” he said.

Furthermore, he emphasized that PPL is not just an academic activity, but also a means of actualizing the knowledge that has been learned in college. Therefore, students are expected to be able to implement their knowledge professionally and ethically.

This PPL orientation is also filled with various series of activities, such as exposure to technical implementation, debriefing, and training. soft skills, In addition, students are also given guidance from their supervisors. PPL is scheduled to last for several weeks and aims to provide direct experience for students in facing the world of work according to their respective scientific fields.

The opening activity was lively and marked by the release of balloons and symbolic embedding of alma mater suits to one of the PPL participants.
