Different Cultures and Languages, FUDA UIN Banten Students are Warmly Welcomed by Students of the Faculty of Ilahiyat Sakarya, Turkey

FUDA | Friday (07/04/2023) - Five FUDA UIN SMH Banten students conducted student mobility to the Faculty of Ilahiyat, Sakarya University Turkey. Ahmad Najid Rasikhullah, Eep Saefullah, Hengki Permana, Fauzan Adzima, and Muhammad Rama Saputra, were warmly welcomed by students of the Faculty of Ilahiyat, Sakarya University Turkey.

The activity which was held on April 07-08 became a valuable experience for FUDA students. Cultural and language differences are not a barrier to establishing intimacy with students of the Faculty of Ilahiyat, Sakarya University Turkey.

“We made new friends in Turkey, Bahri, Omar and Mohammed. They took us on a tour of the Ilahiyat Faculty. They showed us the classrooms, lecturer's room, dean's room, musala, theater room, sports room, library, canteen, garden, and even to the river or what they call Buhair Sapanca.” Ahmad Najid explained.

“These three students of the Faculty of Divinity are, in our view, an energetic and humorous circle. They respond to our words that are sometimes foreign to them with funny things, and we also respond similarly when we hear the foreign terms they convey. That's what made our laughter break out. It made us feel familiar, like we were meeting friends we hadn't seen in a long time.” Eep said.

Ahmad Najid said that Sakarya students love it when lecturers teach outdoors in the garden. Even though the sky is clear in broad daylight, Sakarya University students do not feel hot. So they still enjoy learning outside the classroom, even in direct sunlight.
