FUDA | Serang 12/11/2024 - The rise of cases of violence and sexual harassment against students has become a big problem in every university, including at UIN SMH Banten. Violence and sexual harassment in higher education can certainly damage student education, especially in improving their achievements. So that this deviant behavior must be dealt with immediately and seriously. In response to this, the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab organized an Outstanding Student Development activity (BINMAPRES) which was attended by 22 outstanding students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab.
Dr. Iin Ratna Sumirat, SH, M.Hum, as the Head of the Center for Gender and Child Studies became one of the resource persons for FUDA 2024 BINMAPRES activities. She has an important role in the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education. Dr. Iin encouraged the BINMAPRES participants who are outstanding students to become pioneers, foremost people who are able to influence other students to improve their achievements, and avoid and fight acts of sexual violence and harassment.

“I hope that my children here can spread the virus to other students to excel and avoid and fight acts of violence and sexual harassment in our environment. I am sure, we can definitely together fight and avoid this deviant behavior.” Bright, Dr. Iin.
BINMAPRES activities were held on November 12-14, 2024. Hopefully with this activity, students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab will have additional insight and good morals. The coaching participants are also expected to be able to have a positive influence on other students.
