Serang, April 13-The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University Banten and the Regional Library and Archives Office (DPAD) of Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province took place on Monday, April 13, 2026. This activity was held in the FUDA Dean's meeting room in a solemn atmosphere and full of collaborative spirit.
The signing of this MoA is a strategic step in strengthening institutional cooperation between the academic world and local governments, especially in the fields of library management, literacy development, and preservation of archives and Islamic manuscripts. Both parties agreed to support each other in various programs aimed at improving the quality of human resources and strengthening the culture of literacy in the community.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab said that this collaboration was part of the faculty's commitment to expanding the strategic partnership network.
“My third greeting is that I am ready to contribute, namely to fill our STAND STAND, besides the two study programs of corporate science and Islamic information and SPI, we also have other study programs that are clearly Islamic in character, namely the science of Al-Quran and Tafsir, so we will bring some of the lecturers” works on Al-Quran and Tafsir, then hadith science, we have experts in hadith science, then there is akhidat and philosophy, if there is still a shortage of Al-Quran and hadith, we have philosophers who focus on Islam, it is there," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Library and Archives Office of Pandeglang Regency in his speech said.
“This cultural hall will later become a cultural museum and gallery museum where the contents will be the audians and the history of Islamic children in Banten on the title of a thousand hairs a million santri later maybe we will display the profile of the second pesantren, a very influential kiai or for example an area called the first Islamic area to support us will be directly connected to the father, well this is about manuscripts, it happens that we are next year, next year we will propose a budget for manuscripts,” he said.
The signing ceremony was closed with a group photo session and light discussion about the follow-up plan of the agreed cooperation. With this MoA, it is hoped that the relationship between FUDA UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten and DPAD Pandeglang Regency will be closer and provide real benefits for both parties and the wider community.
