Full of Emotion and Proud, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN SMH Banten Releases 165 Graduates

Serang, April 8 - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) of State Islamic University (UIN) Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin (SMH) Banten once again held a Yudisium and Graduate Release event. Located in FUDA Hall, 2nd Floor, the event which took place solemnly on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 officially released 165 students from 5 Study Programs (Prodi) within the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, Dr. Masykur, M.Hum. In his opening remarks, the Dean conveyed a deep message to the graduates to make this moment a stepping stone to take part in society.

“This graduation is not the end of your learning journey, but the starting gate to face the real world. Be graduates who are not only intellectually superior in the fields of ushuluddin and adab, but also have noble character and are able to provide solutions and real contributions in the midst of the dynamics of society,” said the Dean of FUDA in front of the graduates.

The procession continued with the reading of the Judiciary Decree (SK) by the Deputy Dean I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Masrukhin Muhsin, Lc., M.A. On this occasion, the Deputy Dean I emphasized that this graduation was the result of academic dedication with integrity.

“The 165 scholars who are inaugurated today have gone through a series of long and rigorous academic processes. The reading of this decree is proof of legality as well as institutional recognition of the scientific achievements that you have struggled for during your education at FUDA UIN SMH Banten,” he said.

The most anticipated moment is the announcement of the best graduates. The Vice Dean II for General Administration, Planning, and Finance, Dr. Hj. Eva Syarifah Wardah, M.Hum., read out the title of the best graduate at the study program level as well as the faculty level, which in this graduation was achieved by Dalilah Tausiyah, a student from the History of Islamic Civilization (SPI) Study Program.

“We really appreciate the hard work, perseverance, and dedication of all students. In particular, our highest appreciation goes to Sister Dalilah from SPI Study Program who has won the title of best graduate at the faculty level. Hopefully this achievement will not only make us proud, but also become a spark of enthusiasm for other students to continue to excel in the future,” said the Vice Dean II to the applause of the audience.

Representing her colleagues in arms, Dalilah, the best graduate, had the opportunity to deliver remarks and impressions. Emotionally, she reflected on their long journey through university.

“The bachelor's degree that we carry on our shoulders today is a great mandate. On behalf of my fellow graduates, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all FUDA lecturers and academicians who have patiently guided us. Let us prove together that FUDA alumni are able to bring positive changes, maintain scientific traditions, and make our alma mater proud wherever we go,” said Dalilah.

The event was closed with a symbolic procession of alumni handover from the faculty to the Chairman of the FUDA Alumni Association, Ahmad Husin, M.A. This handover was led by the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Endang Saeful Anwar, Lc., M.A.

“Starting today, your status officially changes from students to alumni. Through this handover, we entrust you to the big family of the FUDA Alumni Association. We hope that the relationship will remain strong, and all of you can work together, collaborate, and build a strong network for mutual progress and the institution that we love,” concluded the Vice Dean III.

The FUDA UIN SMH Banten Judicium and Release event ended with a prayer together and a photo session, leaving sweet memories and pride for 165 new graduates who are ready to face the future. (Esafa)
