FUDA | Friday (17/03/2023) - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab held its second lecturer discussion. There were five lecturers who became speakers in this discussion, all of whom were lecturers at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab.
Dr. Agus Ali Dzawafi, M.Fil.I., Ade Jaya Suryani, M.A., Ph.D., Salim Rosyadi, M.Ag., Hikmatul Luthfi, MA.Hum., and Wina Sumiati, M.His. were the speakers and lecturers of Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab. The moderator of the discussion was Dr. Sholahuddin Al Ayubi, M.A.
Dr. Agus Ali Dzawafi, M.Fil.I., delivered the theme “Sufi Hermeneutics: Uncovering the Hidden Meaning Behind the Text” while Ade jaya Suryani, M.A. Ph.D., delivered the discussion material with the theme “The Political Dimension of Religious Conversion in Indonesia.” The themes of the material presented by the speakers were very interesting to the audience.
The material that was no less interesting was also conveyed by the next speakers, namely Salim Rosyadi, M.Ag., with the theme “Ta'wil Simbolik (Al-Rumzy): Uncovering the Nature of Ibn ‘Arabi's Thought in the Interpretation of the Qur'an”, Hikmatul Luthfi, MA.Hum. with the theme “Ismail Haqqi's Interpretation for Strengthening Religious Moderation (Study of Tafsir Ruh al-Bayan)” and the last speaker Wina Sumiati, M.His. delivered the theme “Homosexual Movement in Indonesian Muslim Society (1978-2016).”
The discussion, which was held in the FUDA Conference Room, 2nd Floor, ran smoothly and excitingly. At 11.00 WIB the discussion was closed by the moderator, after all the speakers delivered the material presented.
