Milad Sejarah Peradaban Islam to Strengthen Kinship and Build a Glorious Civilization

FUDA | Tuesday (01/08/2023) - The Student Association of the Department of History of Islamic Civilization, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten held a celebration event “Milad SPI 26th”. The event was held in FUDA Hall lt. 2 on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 09.00-14.00 WIB.

The event was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, Mr. Dr. Mohammad Hudaeri, M.Ag., the head of the Department of History of Islamic Civilization, Mr. Zaenal Abidin S.Ag., M.SI., lecturers of the History of Islamic Civilization, and students of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. In addition, the event also invited speakers from alumni of the History of Islamic Civilization department who have made a career after graduating from college.

The tasyakuran event was opened directly by the dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab with a symbolic cutting of tumpeng, then continued with a meal together. The Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab hopes that the Department of History of Islamic Civilization will be able to increase its existence so that it is better known and its students are able to compete with students of other departments and even other campuses, so that students must be more active in developing interests and talents that will raise the good name of the department and the Faculty.

In addition, at the peak of the 26th anniversary, the Department of History of Islamic Civilization held a session of Sharing Session with its alumni. Mr. M. Nandang Sunandar M.A, as the Secretary of the Department of History of Islamic Civilization, was one of the speakers who attended the tasyakuran event. He is an alumnus of the History of Islamic Civilization department who graduated in 2015 and has a successful career as a lecturer at UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten.

“As SPI students, they should be able to contribute to improving the existence of the department, not only with high scores, but also accompanied by other achievements both academically and non-academically” said Mr. M. Nandang Sunandar M. A.

Furthermore, he invited SPI students to be active, innovative and visionary to build Civilization in the future.

“There are many ways to excel, for example by participating in off-campus activities or by participating in competitions between universities both on and off campus,” said M. Nandang Sunandar M.A.

Furthermore, there was Rosadi, S.Hum, who became one of the speakers at the tasyakuran event. He is an alumnus of the History of Islamic Civilization department who graduated in 2020 and successfully became an educator at SMAN 4 Kota Serang.

“As SPI students, we should not be too concerned. History is a major that is flexible in determining work,” said Rosadi S. Hum.

The event was enlivened by the appearance of art performances in the form of dances performed directly by students of the History of Islamic Civilization. The event went lively, there was high enthusiasm from the participants. The event went smoothly and was closed with a group photo of the tasyakuran participants.
