FUDA | Wednesday (08/05/2024) - Journal Writing Training (PESANJU) for Students was again held by the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab. This activity is one of FUDA's flagship activity programs, because it has a great influence on realizing academic culture at FUDA UIN SMH Banten. Not only that, the Dean of FUDA is committed to encouraging students to actively write and publish journal articles in various Sinta accredited journals, this will have an impact on the added value of study program accreditation.
PESANJU was held on Monday, 06 - Wednesday, 08 May 2024 in the FUDA courtroom, 2nd floor. 22 FUDA students from six study programs were selected as PESANJU participants. They will receive material as well as guidance from resource persons who are experts in their fields.
Dr. Nurul Huda, M.A., became a resource person who is a prolific writer in print and digital media. He is also the Head of Research Division of FKPT Lebak Regency. With his experience and expertise, Dr. Nurul Huda can provide insight and practical skills to students in writing good and correct academic journals. In addition to Dr. Nurur Huda, M.A., FUDA lecturers also delivered material on writing journal articles, including Dr. Sholahuddin Al-Ayubi, M.A., Hatta Raharja, M.A., Hadian Rizani, M.Hum., Salim Rosyadi, M.Ag., Verry Mardiyanto, M.A., M. Nandang Sunandar, M.Hum., and Angga Pusaka Hidayat, M.Hum.
The Dean of FUDA, Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag. directly opened the PESANJU event. In his remarks, he said “Writing journal articles is one of the competencies that must be mastered by students to support their academic careers, so they must take this activity seriously. So, I hope, through this training, students can be more skilled in writing and publishing scientific papers.” he said.
With this training, it is hoped that FUDA students can improve the quality of their writing and more actively contribute to scientific publications, both at the national and international levels.
