Serang, 26 November 2025 - The Arabic Language and Literature Study Program Student Association (HMPS) successfully organized the National Literary Festival 2025 on 24-26 November 2025. This three-day activity raised the theme “Knitting Words, Echoing Sounds, Uniting Feelings: Semarak Sastra untuk Bangsa”, and succeeded in becoming a forum for artistic expression and creativity for students from various regions.

The event featured a variety of agendas, ranging from poetry creation competitions, poetry reading, literary essays, work reviews, to panel discussions on contemporary literary developments. The entire series of activities is designed to encourage students to explore their potential, broaden their horizons, and strengthen relationships between literary activists at the national level.

In opening the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab (FUDA) gave a motivational speech. He conveyed a special message to young students, especially the first and third semester, to make this activity a space for learning and inspiration.

“I hope the younger generation of students can take valuable lessons from this National Literary Semarak event. May this event encourage you to continue to improvise, create, and make better changes in the future,” he said.

The speech was greeted enthusiastically by the participants, the majority of whom were new students who were looking for directions for self-development in the field of literature and language.

The Chairperson of HMPS Arabic Language and Literature also said that this year's big theme was chosen to emphasize the importance of the role of literature as a means of unifying feelings, cultural expression, and driving positive change.

With the high enthusiasm of participants and a series of inspiring activities, Semarak Sastra Nasional 2025 is expected to become an annual agenda that continues to grow and contribute to the development of Indonesian literature.

The event was officially closed with a collaborative poetry reading, symbolizing the unity and spirit of culture brought about by the theme of this year's event.
