FUDA Tahfidz Camp 2024: Improving the Quality of Memorization and the Depth of Understanding of the Qur'an

FUDA | Friday (22/03/2024) - The Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab held another Tahfidz Camp on March 22-23, 2024. The event, which aims to improve the quality of memorization and understanding of the Qur'an, was attended by 60 students from 6 Study Programs at FUDA.

This Tahfidz Camp featured two main speakers who are experts in their fields. Ustadz Rahman Pardamean, Lc., became the first speaker by presenting material on “Adab Hamlatil Qur'an”, which discusses the ethics and procedures for memorizing the Qur'an. Meanwhile, Ustadz H. Cahyadi Gunawan, Lc., Dipl. delivered material on “Asror al-Waqf wa al-Ibtida’ fi al-Qur'an”, which discussed techniques in stopping and starting reading the Qur'an.

The participants not only received intensive learning from the resource persons, but also felt a sense of togetherness in this activity. For two days, they broke the fast together as part of the worship activities in the month of Ramadan, as well as sahur together to strengthen friendship and enthusiasm in deepening religious knowledge.

The Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, Dr. Mohamad Hudaeri, M.Ag., welcomed the success of this event. He emphasized that activities such as Tahfidz Camp are very important in shaping character and increasing students' love for the Qur'an. In addition, this activity is also in line with FUDA's vision and mission in producing a generation of quality and Islamic personality.

The Tahfidz Camp participants also responded positively to this activity. They expressed gratitude for the opportunity to delve deeper into the Qur'an, and hoped that similar activities could continue to be held in the future.

Thus, Tahfidz Camp Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab 2024 succeeded in creating a conducive environment for students to improve the quality of memorization and understanding of the Qur'an, while strengthening the relationship and togetherness among them. Hopefully similar activities can continue to be held and provide great benefits for the academic and spiritual development of FUDA students.
