Dean of FUSPI at UIN Banten Wins the Most Active Dean Award at the 2026 ADIA International Conference

CIREBON – The Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought (FUSPI) at UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, Dr. Masykur, S.Ag., M.Hum., achieved a remarkable feat at the ADIA International Conference 2026, which took place in Cirebon from July 22 to 25, 2026. At this International Seminar and Competition organized by the Forum of Indonesian Literature Faculty Association, Dr. Masykur was honored and officially received the award for Most Active Dean in recognition of his dedication and scholarly contributions throughout the entire event. This award was presented directly by the Chair of ADIA, Prof. Dr. H. Faisol, M.Ag., together with the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Humanities (FUA) at UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, Dr. H. Anwar Sanusi, M.Ag.

At an international academic forum focused on revitalizing the study of adab and the humanities in the digital age to strengthen ecotheology and advance the nation’s civilization, Dr. Masykur presented a highly regarded paper titled “Revitalizing the Science of Adab and the Humanities in the Cyber Era: A Digital Ecology of Adab for Strengthening the Ecotheology and Civilization of the Nation.” The presentation emphasized the importance of building a digital ecosystem grounded in the values of adab and Islamic ethics so that technological progress can strengthen ecotheological awareness and safeguard the nation’s civilization in the modern era.

The participation of FUSPI UIN SMH Banten leadership in this event not only marked an individual achievement but also carried out a strategic mission for the development of the curriculum at Islamic higher education institutions. Dr. Masykur also oversaw the faculty’s participation in the ADIA 2027 Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Workshop, which outlined the curriculum transformation for the Adab and Humanities program. This transformative initiative includes the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Humanities into the learning process, updating graduate profiles, formulating Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLOs), and developing OBE-based curriculum maps and Semester Learning Plans (SLPs) for all study programs.
